What you can win
Each challenge defines its own prizes. They come in two flavours:
- Physical prizes - sample-pack merch, hardware, vouchers, anything shippable. Variants like size or colour are part of the prize, and you'll be asked to confirm your pick before it goes into the ship queue.
- Digital prizes - sample packs, plug-ins, vouchers delivered as a download. Digital prizes are capped at 10 downloads per grant. Hit the cap by accident and an admin can reset the counter.
How a prize moves through the system
Each prize you're granted appears on your My Prizes page with a status. Here's what each one means:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Awaiting confirmation | Physical prize granted. We need your variant choices + shipping address before we can dispatch. |
| In queue to ship | Confirmed. Sitting in the fulfilment queue waiting to be packed. |
| Shipped | Out the door. |
| Sent | Digital prize. The download link is live on your prizes page. |
| Declined | You declined the grant - terminal status. |
Confirming a physical prize
The first time you log in after being granted a physical prize, a confirmation modal will pop. You'll pick your size / colour / customisation (whatever the prize variant set defines), then either pick an existing shipping address or add a new one. Once confirmed, the prize moves into the ship queue.
You can decline a prize you don't want. It's terminal - no take-backs - so only decline if you're sure.
Certificates
Every challenge finish gets a personalised certificate issued automatically the moment you finish (or the moment an admin approves your finish, for manual-review challenges). It carries:
- Your artist name, snapshotted at issue time
- The challenge name
- The finish date
- A Hardcore badge if you ran clean hardcore
- A unique certificate number
The certificate lives at /certificates/<id> as a live page
you can share with anyone - no login required. There's also a Download as PDF
button for printing or attaching to socials.
Heads up on the artist-name snapshot: if you rename your account later, the certificate keeps the old name. That's deliberate - it's a historical record, not a live profile.
Hardcore-only prizes
Some challenges define separate prizes that only unlock on a clean hardcore finish. If a challenge has them, the public challenge page will say so before you start. Broken-hardcore finishers don't get them.
